Harris had many memorable roles throughout his career, including playing King Arthur in Camelot, John Morgan in A Man Called Horse, and Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter movies.

He studied acting at Crescent College and The Royal Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and was married twice. Harris had three sons, Jamie, Jared, and Damian, who have all pursued careers in the entertainment industry.

Richard Harris passed away on October 25th, 2002, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most respected and talented actors of his time.

Michael Gambon

Michael Gambon was an Irish-English actor born on October 19, 1940, in Dublin, Ireland. He passed away on September 27, 2023, but he left behind a brilliant body of work in film, television, theatre, and radio.

Gambon is perhaps best known for his role as Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter film series, taking over the role from Richard Harris starting with “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” in 2004. His portrayal of the beloved headmaster was widely praised by fans and critics alike.

Throughout his career, Gambon appeared in many other notable films, TV shows, and stage productions, such as “The Singing Detective,” “Gosford Park,” and “The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover.” His versatility and talent earned him a knighthood and numerous awards.

Jude Law

One of my favorite characters in the Harry Potter books is Neville Longbottom. I have a lot in common with him, I believe. If someone asked me to pick three characters from the Harry Potter world, this would be my list:

He becomes more confident, courageous, and skilled in magic, particularly in Herbology. His unwavering loyalty and determination make him an essential member of Dumbledore’s Army, a secret organization founded by Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley to teach defensive magic to students.

Neville’s character arc reaches its pinnacle in the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, where he plays a crucial role in the Battle of Hogwarts and becomes the leader of Dumbledore’s Army in Harry’s absence. Neville’s bravery and resilience ultimately lead him to destroy the final Horcrux, which is crucial in the defeat of Lord Voldemort.
